The Ursulino Valletta Art Collection

Valletta’s walls guard within them the best of Maltese Art and Culture. The city is due to play European Capital of Culture in 2018 and this has triggered an explosion of artistic expression throughout the Maltese Islands.

With this in mind, we at Ursulino Valletta have decided to offer the walls of our public spaces to local artists. We have rolling art exhibitions every 2-3 months together with “meet the artist” sessions to promote the works we expose.

Ursulino Valletta is our personal tribute to the country we call home and to the city we have grown to love. On the outside, views of the city and the Grand Harbour of Valletta, breathtaking in natural beauty; within our walls, a collection of both local and international art to contribute to the artistic renaissance that the city is undergoing during these modern times.

In addition, the rooms and suites of Ursulino Valletta are adorned with the colours of a substantial private art collection of either local artists, or of foreign artists who depict local scenes. Below is a selection of these artists who have either exhibited on our walls or whose paintings adorn our private quarters.
